Retesting the Brand New Pond
I return to Eagle Island East Pond to see if the fishing is still going strong. Since it was later in the day, the trout were farther out and deeper than the last time. It still turned into a great day despite having some trouble with the new rods and reels. I have since resolved those issues; now I just need to catch more fish.
Fishing in the Evening, Part 2
Brown's Pond is a tradition; however, not all traditions carry on. My family has been to McCall almost every summer since I was around 8 years old. Last year, some things changed that would no longer allow us to visit as we once did. Despite that, Mrs Wandering Idahoan and I made the quick trip up to Brown's pond to keep the fishing tradition alive. Let's see what performs better: evening fishing or morning fishing (coming in Episode 14). Which time of day do you think will perform better?

What A Crappie Day, Part 4
On this trip, I visited a new pond. They don't stock this pond with trout, so I'm on the hunt for some different species. This time I catch my first Crappie as well as my biggest bluegill on the channel. I was blown away by the number of crappies I started pulling in. Throw in a few bluegills to mix things up, and it turned into a fantastic day.
