The previous honey hole was no longer producing. The fish had moved on to other places in the pond, so I set out to find them. This is a fan process, where I cast on the edge of one side and work my way across to the other side before moving on to another section. If you can see surfacing then you can avoid this process and just move to that area, but when the fish aren't surfacing this is a great way to find them.
