Fishing
50 Trout in 2 Hours, Part 1
I had passed this pond a number of times while floating the river that runs along it. One time, we docked briefly, and I got out to examine the pond to see what looked like some small fish barely breaking the surface. However, I finally got to fish it, and I was not disappointed. It was a wild morning.
Micro Fishing (Last Resort of Late Summer), Part 2
It's late summer, the heat is high, and the ponds haven't been stocked in over two months. Fall stocking is right around the corner, but what does a fisherman do until then? Micro Fishing! I head to a local pond full of bluegills, baby bluegills. While it doesn't compare to catching big fish, micro fishing can be fun. How small can they get and still take the hook? Watch to find out.

Three Fish - Three Species
Back at Fuller Pond, looking for some bass, but willing to catch more crappie and bluegill. It turns out the bass weren't biting. In fact, almost nothing was biting. Despite the slow bite, I was happy to hook into a good-sized crappie, a big bluegill for my local ponds, and even a little red-eared sunfish from a few feet offshore. It wasn't my best day, but I still had fun catching three different species.
Finding the Fish (Part 2)
Once you find the fish, things get easier. All it comes down to now is finding the best bait for their appetites. Changing things up runs some risk of finding something they are not interested in, but it could also mean doubling or tripling your catch rate.
