Traveled to south central Idaho to see if I could catch some Lahontan Cutthroat Trout in the Grasmere Reservoir. The water was murky, the weather was hot and dry, and the fishing was difficult. I started off with my usual rig, but soon decided to try the ultralight with a float as well. I wasn't getting any interest, so I started to try other spots of the pond. Like I always say, "In order to catch fish, you have to go where the fish are." I found the fish in a nice little honey hole and turned a slow day into a great one.
